Who doesn’t love Egg Biryani???? But the procedure of making it is undeniable long and tiresome. So here is a recipe of restaurant-style Egg biryani made in pressure cooker using everyday ingredients like rice, eggs, yoghurt, spices and masala.
Ingredients For Egg Biryani
- mint leaves – 0.25 Cup
- Green Chilli 1 Nos
- Tomato 1 Nos
- Eggs 2 Nos
- Cooking oil 4 Tbsp
- Curd 2 Tbsp
- Cashew 0.25 Cup
- Raisins 0.25 Cup
- Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 0.5 Tbsp
- Coriander (Dhania) Powder 0.5 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 0.5 Tsp
- Red Chilli Powder 0.5 Tsp
- Salt 0.5 Tsp
- Rice 1 Cup
- Ginger garlic paste 0.5 Tbsp
- Biryani Masala Powder 1 Tbsp
- garam Masala 0.5 Tsp
- Ghee 1 Tbsp
- Onion – 2 nos
- Water – 2.5 cup
Procedure for anda biryani
Coat Boiled egg with a pinch of turmeric, red chilli powder and salt; refined oil in a preheated cooker add 1 tbsp. Add 1 diced onion to it and fry it till golden brown Take the onions out in a plate and keep it aside ( we’ll add it at last); Add half tbsp refined oil again to the cooker and add coated boiled eggs and fry it till golden brown; Keep the eggs aside; Now add diced onion and green chillies and fry it till golden brown; Now add 1 diced tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric
powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, salt and water and mix it all together; Add biryani masala and mint leaves; Turn off the stove and allow the mixture to cool; Add curd and blend it properly; Add the boiled eggs, half cup water, rice, cashews and resins, mint leaves, red chilli powder, previously fried onions; Turn on the stove again and add 1 cup water and 1 tbsp ghee; Add saffron mixed with milk from the top; Close the lid and close the stove after two pressure whistles; serve it hot with Raita.
