    Ground Flaxseed
  • 2
    tsp
    Water
  • 2
    tbs
    Vegan Butter
    melted
  • 3
    tbs
    Brown Sugar
  • 1/8
    tsp
    Salt
  • 1/4
    tsp
    Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8
    tsp
    Baking Soda
  • 1/3
    cup
    All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4
    Cup
    Vegan Chocolate Chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Make Flaxseed egg by combining the ground flaxseed and water. Let set for 5 minutes.

  3. After 5 minutes, combine melted vegan butter, add brown sugar, salt, flaxseed egg, vanilla, and baking soda. Stir with a spoon until well combined, about 20 – 30 seconds.

  4. Add in the flour and mix until the dough is not longer sticking to the bowl.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, keeping a few to top the cookie after it’s been added to the sheet tray.

  6. Shape dough into a cookie shape on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Use the remaining few chocolate chips to the top of the cookie.

  7. Bake in preheated oven 12 – 14 minutes, until cookie is golden.

  8. Serve warm or allow to cool on a wire rack then store in an airtight container.
