I visited Celebration Farmer’s Market, an amazing outdoor farmers market near me. It was a wonderful experience because I met several local farmers and creators from all walks of life! Here is a post with all the information about this Farmer’s Market.
We have all heard of the splendid Orlando Farmer’s Market near Lake Eola, but did you know there are so many others all around?

Live entertainmentThe market will almost always have a live entertainer at this place. On this occasion, we were being serenaded by Bri Bishop Music .
Bri is a very talented singer and plays the guitar very well. Be sure to recognize her talents when you are visiting the market. Where to sit and relaxCelebration Farmer’s Market is located in the picturesque town of Celebration, surrounded by beautiful lakes.
Sit on deck-like chairs like these which have umbrellas for a shade.
Sit on these deck chairs and take in the beautiful views of Lake Rianhard.
It has very few tables with umbrellas like this one. I think I counted just 3 of these (unsure if they have more).
The market has about 2 or 3 of these chairs and table sets that you can sit at and enjoy a picnic while taking in the views of beautiful Lake Rianhard As a last resort, there are benches like this which are all over the place. They are very comfortable but have no shade above.
This bench is a good place to sit and relax or eat at the market. 🎸 Enjoying the ambiance : Celebration Farmers Market has lake views and live entertainment. You can enjoy a picnic by the lake while you enjoy good music.
The Best time to visitHave I mentioned that this market is located in Celebration, Florida? The emphasis is on Florida in this sentence!
Florida is known for its beaches, sands, Disney, and oranges! But, it’s also known for its UNRELENTING Heat. So, when to visit is dependent on your heat tolerance.
If you love the heat, visit it from around March to mid-December. The heat index can be very high during these months. Expect temperatures to be anywhere from 80˚F to over 100˚F (26˚C to 38˚C). That may or may not include the humidity. Even if the temperature is 90˚F (32˚C), when humidity is factored in, the temp can feel like over a 100˚F (38˚C).
When you are looking for last minute date ideas , this farmers market is the perfect place to go.
The Entrance to the Front Street Portion of the Farmers Market
Yes, the heat is very oppressive!
For those who love cooler temperatures, your best time to visit would be from mid-December to around mid-March. That’s when the temps dip to about 75˚F (24˚K and below). Keep in mind that temps can, occasionally, dip as low as 30˚F (-1˚K) in January and February.
But, also, in case you forgot, this market is located in Florida. The occasional over 85˚F temps are possible from December to March.
🥵 Weather Tip: Florida is hot for about 8 months out of the year. The highs could be as hot as 100˚F (38˚F). The lows could go down to as low as 30˚F (-1˚C) in January and February.
Directions by carIt is close to Exit 2 on FL 417 (AKA Central Florida Greenway). FL-417 is a toll highway, so have an E-Pass, or Sunpass. They also accept cash, but it’s an exact change at the toll booth. Stay in the correct lane based on your payment choice.
As of October 2024, the toll fee is $2.50 for Exit 2 on 417.
The Farmers Market is located in the Downtown Celebration area.
If you are coming from the east side of this market, take US 192 (AKA W Irlo Bronson Highway). From there, take 192 and turn left on Celebration Avenue to Sycamore.
Here is a Google Maps link where you can plug in your address in the “Choose Starting Point” location and it will give you the precise directions.
Using public transportationKissimmee’s public transportation is the GoLynx bus service. They service the Orlando/Winterpark/Kissimmee/St. Cloud Area.
If you noticed that I didn’t include Celebration, you are very observant! Two buses come very close to Celebration, but not close enough.
The first and closest bus is Bus #56 . For those on the eastbound 56 bus, exit at the Celebration Ave and Blake St Stop. Those on the westbound 56 bus, exit it at Celebration Ave and Celebration Place stop.
Once you exit your stop, walk westbound on Celebration Avenue, until you reach Sycamore St where you will turn left. The walk will be about 24 minutes and longer depending on your speed and the weather.
The Market is located at the intersection of Sycamore Street and Celebration Place
The second bus is Bus #55 which is a little further. Those on the eastbound 55 bus, exit at the US 192 (W. Irlo Bronson Hwy) and Celebration Place Bus stop. Turn around towards Celebration Avenue and make a left on it. Stay on it until you get to Sycamore Street where you will turn left.
Those on the westbound 55 bus, exit at the Irlo Bronson Hwy and Seahorse Circle Stop. Cross Celebration Ave and walk on it until Sycamore Street where you will turn left.
The total walk time for 55 bus takers will be 30 minutes, once again depending on your speed and weather.
As of October 2024, the bus rates are $2 one way. Lynx has a trip planner that shows you how to get to the Market. However, I highly recommend a phone App called the Transit App (For Apple and Android ). It will give you door-to-door directions.
Other transportationsUber and Lyft also serve this area, but they can be pricey. For Florida residents of Orange County and surrounding counties with disabilities, you can apply for AccessLynx . If approved, they also provide door-to-door service at very low rates ($4-$7).
🧭 Directions tip : This local farmers market is accessible by car from anywhere as it is close to I-4. There is limited public transportation which includes a ton of walking. Share rides are available but expensive.
How to get a booth at Celebration Farmers MarketA view of the Sycamore Street where the Farmers Market Starts I have discovered that anyone can have a booth at this market. I encourage you to apply for a vendor booth and sell your wares there. You will have a lot of fun and meet amazing vendors like yourself.
As of October 2024, these booths go for $40 for a 10×10 sized booth.
To get a booth, apply for it on their website .
My takeawaysEvery vendor I talked to was very passionate about their wares. They grew, made, and crafted them with so much love! They pour their souls into these products.
I was so impressed by their hard work and diligence. The products I sampled and bought are of the highest quality.
Combined with good vendors and breathtaking scenery, this farmers market is one of a kind!
You can bet I will be visiting often.
Explore the downtown Celebration area
Two downsides to this marketI have just 2 small gripes with this place.
The first one is that there were no produce vendors. I was looking for Kale, carrots, tomatoes, and other veggies. However, on this visit, I didn’t encounter any produce vendors. This was a big disappointment for me because I am all about eating freshly grown produce.
I was told that the produce vendors show up occasionally, but there is no way of knowing when they will be there.
The other small gripe was that it was expensive! I understand that they have great products, hence the prices. Being a small business myself, I completely understand pricing your worth. However, it’s still a little expensive. The five things I bought cost me about $50. So, keep that in mind when you go there.
Some vendors in this marketThere are about 50 (maybe a little more) vendors at this location. I wish I could talk to each one and get their stories. Some were busy and some didn’t permit me to mention them on my blog.
Here are some vendors I chatted with and they gave me permission to take photos and talk about their small businesses.
Homegrown Acres – Old Town, FL They have a huge collection of homemade salsas, jam, pickles, and so much more.
They have several flavors of jams, jellies, pickles, salsas, and so much more. They are made using ingredients they grow on their farm.
I bought their mulberry flavor because I had never tried it before. It turned out so sweet and delicious. I am planning a recipe around it, so stay tuned. The prices range from $6 to $11.
Check out their Facebook Page for more product information and ordering.
Dato Brothers Hot Sauce They sell fiery sauces and it shows!
This was one of the most colorful vendors I met. He was a lovely person and completely contradictory to the spicy sauces he sells.
He had two hot sauces out for people to try: “Red Ant Inferno” and “Touching The Sun.” He claimed that Touching the Sun was the spiciest sauce.
These are 2 of the hottest sauces they have.
Well, I am Indian, so you have to wake up very early in the morning to fool my taste buds. I loved both sauces, but neither was spicy enough to make me scream for every milk drop in the world.
I bought the Touching The Sun sauce and finished the bottle within a week because it was that good! I used it on my broccoli rice casserole and on my tofu scramble . I highly, highly recommend it.
Check out their Facebook page where they are very active.
Plant Rana Wellness Microgreens The best collection of microgreens ever
I know I am not supposed to have favorites, but….
I was blown away by Plant Rana’s microgreens stall. They have microgreens of sunflowers, broccoli, mustard greens, and so much more. These microgreens have been grown on their farm in organic soil using organic seeds.
Look at these perfectly grown microgreens!
The vendor proudly sent me a photo of their farm and he wanted me to show it to you all too. Look at how cool their farm is! I am told they have so many of these metal shelves.
Someday, I would love to tour their farm and hopefully, they will show me all their secrets!
The vendor proudly sent me a photo of their farm where they grow their microgreens
If you want to grow your own microgreens at home, they sell kits at the farmers market. It has all the details, taking all the guesswork out of the process.
They sell kits of microgreens that you can grow at home. Enjoy the microgreens at home in many recipes or eat it right out of the package. They have so many, many health benefits which they outline on signs near the stall.
The many wonderful benefits of microgreens.
Their prices can seem on the higher side, but you will see that they are totally worth it. They deliver their products to certain areas in Florida, so check out their website for more information.
It may seem a little pricey, but totally worthy!
I bought their mixed microgreens variety and it was so good. I refrigerated it when I got home and it lasted me 2 weeks. I am sure it would have lasted longer but I ate them up quickly.
I put them in my tomato sandwich and a variety of salads.
Contact Plant Rana on their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Friends Product They make their own stuffed grape leaves, taboule, hummus, and so much more.
Grape leaves are a personal weakness of mine. I used to frequent a restaurant in Astoria, Queens where they used to sell homemade stuffed grape leaves. They taught me their techniques so well, that even after some twenty years, I still remember how to stuff them.
So, I was super delighted to see Friends Product sell homemade stuffed grape leaves. Now, I regret buying just one package of it because they were so good.
I LOVED their stuffed grape leaves. It tasted so authentic and delicious.
Unfortunately, I polished off the whole box in less than 2 days so I can’t tell you if they will last a long time in the refrigerator. Next time, I am going to try to buy more and experiment with how long it will last.
Their Tabouli was also delicious and tasted authentic. I served it for lunch along with the grape leaves and it was a Mediterranean feast!
Friends Products has a huge collection of hummus and spreads that are homemade.
They also make their own hummus with a variety of flavors. They even have a few that are made with olive oil only. I did buy 2 but I forgot to write it down, lol. But, they were very good and both tasted so fresh.
I put the stuffed grape leaves into my kale salad which made the salad taste even better.
P/S: have you tried my take on tabouli which I made using Amaranth grain ?
Connect with Friends Product on Instagram and see when they are coming to a Farmer’s Market Near You.
Lady T Lemonade
Did I mention that it’s SUPER HOT in Florida? Even if I did, it bears repeating. It’s SUPER HOT in Florida!
So, what do you do to stay cool? You could get one of those weird neck fans but that doesn’t help the rest of your body stay cool!
Then you pass by Lady T Lemonade and you know that lemonade is exactly what you need! And, you are in luck because her lemonades are legendary!
This pouch is so well designed so that you can easily carry it around the market.
First, let’s talk about the lemonade itself. It’s made with locally sourced lemons which she gets from Winter Park farms. The lemonade is the perfect blend of sweetness and tang. Just one sip of her very berry lemonade and I could feel my whole body start cooling down.
Second, it’s the pouch that makes her lemonade “travelable”. Is that a word?
The pouch is lightweight and has a handle too! So, carry it around the market and you will feel cool in more ways than one. She also has a hole for a straw.
This pouch has a built-in straw holder and the pouch is reusable too.
The best is that the pouch is reusable. I put my beet lemonade or my watermelon lassi in the pouch and take it to the pool or for a picnic by the lake.
If I had to choose a second favorite at the market, Lady T Lemonade would be it!
Lady T Lemonade is easily found on Instagram , so go give her a like and see how you can get your hands on her delicious lemonade.
