Notes of meatloaf recipes with crackers
• Make sure to place the meat pan on the pan before putting it in the oven. Sometimes this recipe can blow the air and I really don't want to be the cause of your oven burning.
• Place parchment paper on a baking sheet so you don't have to clean extra plates.
• Be careful not to mix up too much! Stir until all ingredients are easily combined. Excessive blending can result in a different, denser texture.
• Use lean meats like ground turkey or even venison to avoid fatty meats! Beef is amazing, but I promise you it will still taste great no matter what kind of meat you use in the recipe.
• Let the meat rest for at least 15 minutes after it comes out of the oven. If you cut it too early, it will fall apart. Beware of this important warning!
• Canned apricots in the sauce make this recipe, but if you don't have wine or cherry or jam jelly, they're a great substitute!
